Investing In Our Community, Offering Affordable Leasing Opportunities
Current Partnership Opportunities
ERC develops projects and opportunities for tenants that provide critical resources and services to underserved communities. Currently, ERC has two partnership opportunities in Los Angeles County. Below is a snapshot of a development site in Compton that will be home to the Children Institute Inc.’s new Head-start facility while the other is the redevelopment of a former bank branch that will serve as a YMCA of Greater Long Beach new childcare center.
804 Long Beach Blvd,
Compton, CA
Join ERC and the Children’s Institute Inc. (CII) as we seek to build networks of care that respond to local needs, create more trauma-informed space, and increase capacity for healing and resilience. The Long Beach Blvd site offers a socially responsible impact investor the opportunity to help fund a $3M project wherein CII has committed to a 10 year lease to provide quality educational services to residents of the Compton community. While ERC has committed $2M towards the development there remains a partnership opportunity for a dynamic, keen, responsible investor to pledge $1M towards this much needed community development project.
2299 Pacific Ave,
Long Beach, CA
Join the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA), the YMCA of Greater Long Beach and ERC as a strategic partner to help transform a former bank into a modern state of the art child care facility. The YMCA has committed to be a long term partner by signing a 10 year lease, ERC has invested over $1.4M to acquire the property and the EDA has granted $2.7M towards the renovation of the building. The remaining $400,000 needed to close the budget gap is a great opportunity for a socially responsible impact investor to help bring high quality services to the friendly Wrigley neighborhood of Long Beach.
